Fujitsu has finally made their LifeBook U2010 UMPC official in the Asia-Pacific region, unveiling the full color options in the process.  The convertible device has a SuperFine 5.6” WXGA 1280 x 800 touchscreen, 1.6GHz Intel Atom CPU and a choice of 60GB HDD or 64GB SSD, in casings gold, silver, red, blue or black.  Fujitsu are promising a maximum 8hrs of battery life from a single charge.

The U2010 also has a 1.3-megapixel webcam, FM transmitter to play music back through your car radio, fingerprint scanner and a digital microphone.  Microsoft’s Origami 2.0 interface is preinstalled, and there’s the usual WiFi and Bluetooth.

While Fujitsu themselves are yet to announce official pricing, Hong Kong Polytechnic University are already advertising the LifeBook U2010 at HK$7,280 ($932) for students and staff, or HK$10,800 unsubsidised ($1,383).  A US version of the UMPC, called the U820, recently cleared the FCC.
