Fossil Q Founder Android Wear smartwatch arrives tomorrow

In October, Fossil introduced its Q smartwatches, an Android Wear lineup with classy designs that don't immediately bring to mind thoughts of tech. There are three watches in the lineup, chief among them being the Q Founder, the company's flagship Android Wear wearable. In a statement today, Fossil announced that it will launch the Q Founder watch tomorrow, getting it out before the holiday shopping madness.

The Q Founder smartwatch is powered by a low-power Intel Atom processor, allowing to to run Android Wear like a "powerhouse." The design is notable for its classy structure, but the smart features users expect in a smartwatch are there, such as incoming notifications, appointment alerts, and more. There's voice command support as well as a touchscreen display.

The wearable comes with both Fossil Q companion apps and Android Wear apps. Users can customize the watch face and track their activity, add pre-loaded Fossil dials, download new dials, and more. Tracking includes monitoring the number of runs, jumps, and steps the wearer takes.

Among its more interesting features is Q Curiosity, which give alerts when it is time for the wearer to take a break from their routine and find something else to do. The watch is priced at $275 USD, and will be available online and from some Fossil stores starting tomorrow.
