In case you haven’t been keeping up on the latest news, or have a terrible short-term memory we told you that the Eye-Fi was recently approved by the FCC. This of course meant it would be launching soon. We just didn’t expect it quite this soon.

That’s right, the Eye-Fi is already hitting stores. This little nugget of joy takes the place of your regular SD card, stores up to 2GB worth of pictures and transmits them wirelessly to your computer. Pretty neat huh?

If you weren’t expecting much of a premium for the wireless functions of this card, you’ll be sorely disappointed. The Eye-Fi comes with a suggested retail price of $100.
