This particular CloudBook model packs in an 8.9” WVGA display, a VIA C7-M ULV processor, WiFi b/g, Bluetooth, GPS, and 2x 2MP webcams. But the most important feature is the addition of support for Sprint’s upcoming Xohm WiMAX network.

It has a single-chip WiMAX setup provided by GCT Semiconductor. Basically this will be the ultimate notebook for road warriors offering up maximum connectivity, minimal weight, and a compact form factor.

With this notebook you’ll get up to 4 hours of battery life, 2GB of DDR RAM, an 80GB HDD, S-Video out, Audio in and out ports and all that packed into a package that weighs less than 1kg and measures in at 240×175x27 millimeters. It should be shipping within a year, no more exact availability info was available and there was no price released at this time, but it sounds like these relatively cheap notebooks are wedging their way into the market as the things that higher end notebooks actually have to compete with, I mean who would have ever thought the Czars would be competing with the Serfs for power?
