Duracell expands compatibility for MyGrid charging kit

Last September we got our hands on the MyGrid wireless charging system from Duracell. The system is very similar to other wireless charging solutions on the market from WildCharge and others.

Duracell announced this week that it was expanding the compatibility of the MyGrid charging system to work with other mobile devices. Duracell reports that it is now offering kits for Apple devices and for mobile phones that charge via micro-USB ports.

The micro-USB port chargers are small devices that plug into the port on the side of the phone and have a plate on the rear for drawing power from the charging pad. Duracell makes no specific mention of the iPhone 4, but I would assume a case for it would be coming soon.
