Diablo III: Reaper of Souls expansion launches

The first time that we talked about the coming expansion pack for Diablo III called Reaper of Souls was last summer. We though that expansion would have landed last year, but that never happened. The good news is that the wait is over.

Blizzard has announced that the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls expansion is now live and available for gamers on the PC and Mac to purchase all around the world. The expansion pack adds in a sixth character class for gamers to enjoy. The new class is called the Crusader and joins the existing classes of Barbarian, Demon Hunter, Monk, Witch Doctor, and Wizard.

The expansion also adds a new act to the game that will see gamers journey through scary landscapes to explore the city of Westmarch while killing enemies that want to destroy you. The expansion pack brings new content including the new Act V, Crusader character class, and an increase in the level cap to 70.

That level increase brings new spells and abilities. A new adventure mode allows players to go where they want and kill enemies as they adventure. Bounties have been introduced with the expansion that give chances to earn rewards for exploring Sanctuary. Dungeons are now randomized making them infinity replayable. A new artisan called The Mystic provides the heroes with customization options for loot. Reaper of Souls is available in retail or digital versions for $39.99 and a deluxe edition can be had for $59.99 that offers in game bonuses.
