An Italian design firm named DeepDesign took the time and money to design a new type of hairdryer. The weird part comes when you find out that they didn’t even have a client for this project, just decided to do it.
I don’t know how many drugs over what period of time it takes to make a design team suddenly decide they want to try and revolutionize the world of hair drying, but whatever makes them happy. Apparently the Winds is more ergonomic and is a standalone, auto-switching with a double airflow.
So, since they didn’t do this design on commission they are now trying to get it commissioned for production. So although it looks really cool, its probably going to be really expensive and hard to con someone into producing, but good luck Rafaella Mangiarotti and Matteo Bazzicalupo.

Wow, what a weird hair dryer. I personally don’t see any use for it unless they made it so people can not have to bend there hand to do the top of their head. But other than that I think it is kind of lame haha.
BUT I don’t use a hairdryer so it isn’t a need for me so it may be cools to others. But just my opinion…

it is a professional hairdrier particolary useful in feminine salon that integrates the accessories generally separated. The advantage is to do not move hot accessories to change the hairdrier configuration. The ergonomic advantage is that the hair stylist don’t have to stay anymore 8 hours a day with the arm over the heart line (that is a problem for the blood circulation). The cost are the same of a traditional one as the difference it is only in a different architecture of the same electric parts. We had a test with hair stylists and was very good.
