There’s more than one way to skin a cat, so does the same principle apply to designing PMP? There’s the usual Windows CE 5.0-CE based operating system powered by AMD’s Alchemy chipset. Most PMP offers a 4.3-inch screen, 30GB hard drive, supporting a variety of audio and video files. More and more PMP also features a T-DMB receiver and supports “HD quality TV out,” in countries that support it. So what did Curon give the QCOX to make it stand out from the rest of the crowd? A simple and easy to use circular click wheel, that’s found on some digital cameras. This is a nice addition allowing users to switch between modes easily and quickly forgoing the GUI.
