There are some pretty amazing features that come with this PMP too. Lets start with the screen, its 4-inches diagonal, 16 million colors, and has a res of 800×480, that’s as good as my TV.
Then there is the FM radio with built in recorder, a USB host, MPEG-4 video recorder, and up to 1280×720 HD output. Codec support includes FLAC, DivX, and OGG, and I assume there is a sufficiently longer list of other codecs supported as that list doesn’t have any picture formats and no MP3 support in the list either.
They are going to be sold in 30 and 60 gigabyte capacities for about $387 and $465 respectively. So, go get one and tell us what you think.

Why would I get one of these when the Archos PMP 705 has WiFi, 160Gb, 7in screen – to name a few, for about $50 more (about $500). It certainly not the FM tuner. It may fit into my pocket a little better, but price verses my “fit in my pocket” – I will choose to slim my wallet a little and get twice the bang! But I will concede that my opinion is only from this article and the other mentioned below and a little more reading on the Archos site.

There have been many reviews claiming that the Archos has mediocre sound quality and that the EQ is a joke.
I have a obsolete Cowon product right now, purchased exclusively for how great it sounds.
I’ll be waiting for the A3 here in America.
