Bugatti Chiron official debut confirmed for Geneva in March

We already know a lot about the Bugatti Chiron, even though Bugatti has only just now officially confirmed the name of the car. Along with the confirmation that the car will be called the Chiron, Bugatti has also confirmed that the world premiere for the car will happen at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show kicking off in March.

Those who have bene wondering where the Chiron name comes from, the car is named after Louis Chiron. Chiron was a racing driver who won most of the major racing events behind the wheel of a Bugatti car in the 1920s and 1930s.

While some of the details are still not official, Bugatti has promises that the Chiron will be the world's fastest and most powerful hyper car. The Chiron also has 100 orders placed already. The car has already been shown to some important Bugatti customers to generate those early orders.

The buyers will get the world's most powerful, fastest, most luxurious, and most exclusive production sports cars according to Bugatti. The car is expected to be heavily inspired by the Vision GT concept and will use a W16 engine making a rumored 1500PS. The car is tipped to have a 0-62mph time in the low 2-second range. A Chiron example was spied in testing earlier this month.
