Book-sized PC is expensive way into micro-computing

My first thought on seeing Stealth Computer's tiny little LPC-450 was that it was a competitor to the Zonbu; after picking myself up of the floor on seeing the price, however, I realised that this book-sized chunk of processing power is aimed at an entirely different market.

Starting at $1,395 for an Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 1.66GHz CPU, half a gig of RAM and an 80GB SATA hard-drive, optional extras for the 5.7" x 9.9" x 1.65" PC are a panel mounting bracket, upgrade of the standard DVD/CD-RW drive to a full DVD burner, remote power switch and, oh yes, an OS.  Flash hard-drive options are available on request.

Using predominantly laptop components, Stealth would obviously like you to see the LPC-450 as either a solution for a tiny desktop or maybe the processing grunt of a Car-PC.  Max out the components (admittedly just to a level you'd find in the average business notebook) and you're looking at $2,725.
