If the device in the image below is in fact the real Blackberry 9000, there are going to be a lot of disappointed Blackberry owners or would be owners. Overall appearance shows that it is slimmed down a lot. The screen does look bigger than current models, and then again that could just be my imagination.

Three big changes I noticed by looking at the image; this device is now using the micros-USB instead of the mini USB, silver / chrome bezel added to the bezel and an external microSD slot on the left side.

Well there you have it. Anyone disappointed?

    The eBay seller has a lot of auctions for used phones. I’m wondering if this could be an old engineering prototype. Certainly RIM would be able to get a hold of it and check the serial number. Also worth noting that the auction is still up ( at least it was when I checked).

    Still, I have a hard time forming an opinion without knowing what’s inside that thing and whether it has a camera, more memory, etc.
