If you're a Verizon subscriber, you'll be pleased to learn that Boingo has expanded their deal with the carrier today to make it so you can obtain free Wi-Fi in any location that supports a Boingo hotspot. This way, you'll be able to access Verizon DSL or FiOS services at any Boingo hotspot for free. It's not clear at the moment if this freebie deal will be available internationally, but the U.S. is a definite. This helps to level the playing field a bit between Verizon and other carriers like AT&T who have already expanded their Wi-Fi hotspot coverage considerably beyond the traditional locations like Starbucks.
