It appears that there is another nationwide data outage at AT&T again. It was EDGE earlier this month, and now its UMTS.

All I know is ATT better get their stuff together or they are going to start losing customers, especially business customers. I mean it’s the end of the month/the beginning of a new one; this is a really bad time to have an outage occur that more or less only affects business users.
Apparently there are 5 states that are unaffected. If you are having any experience with this or know anything new, let us know in the comments section.

I have been on the phone a few times with AT&T and all they have told me is to keep turning off my phone and removing my battery and that would help the problem a little. Its pretty sad that this is happening. Right now though my 3G is back up but I cant sync my email at all.

About 80% of our blackberry users have no connectivity in the Fox Valley area 40 miles west of Chicago.

Madison, WI has been down starting around 7am this morning. Called AT&T and spent 22 minutes waiting to be told it was down. It would have helped if they had an update on the hold line instead of marketing material.

Just called AT&T again and was told that the larger platforms that run UMTS are having trouble and they keep fixing one problem and then another one comes up. They told me to call back later tonight to check in and if its not fixed within 24hrs to call again so they can look further into the problem. The lady also said as of now the computers are in all markets are all reporting outages. Will report back later!
