Asus unveils UL80 and N61Vg notebooks

Asus announced the new UL notebook series a few weeks back and I mentioned the new line at that point. Asus has now got official with a specific UL model called the UL80. The machine is a 14-inch notebook with a 3 pound chassis.

It runs the Intel CULV SU7300 CPU and has Asus Turbo33 tech to provide 30% or more processor speed improvement. The machine has NVIDIA GeForce G210M graphics with 512MB of RAM. Asus also announced the new N61Vg multimedia notebook.

This notebook has a 16-inch HD resolution screen with a new design Asus calls "eagle eye." The sound system for the machine uses Altec Lansing speakers with SRS Premium surround sound. Storage is to a 500GB HDD and graphics are via NVIDIA GeForce G240M. The notebook also has a multi-touch track pad that supports gestures.
