If the thought of ASUS’ U-series ultraportable notebooks is getting you moist around the edges, relax, it happens to the best of us.  The company is yet to announce release dates for the range, which spans 12.1-inches through to 15.6-inches, perhaps because they’re too busy putting together fancy demo videos like the one after the cut.

In case you’ve forgotten, the U-series offers a wide range of Pentium, Celeron, Core 2 Solo and Core 2 Duo processors, up to 4GB of RAM and up to 500GB of storage.  Graphics are courtesy of either Intel’s GMA 4500MHD chipset, ATI’s Mobility HD4570 or NVIDIA’s GeForce G 105M, and all models have Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFi a/b/g/n.

The smallest model is the ASUS U20A, with a 12.1-inch LED-backlit display, measuring in at 298 x 225 x 22-29.6 mm and tipping the scales at 1.78kg.  It still manages to pack a DVD super-multi drive, though.  Full specs of the whole range (plus the ASUS UX-series) here.
