Asus G750 series notebooks have NVIDIA GTX 800M graphics

Asus has announced a new notebook series that is part of the Republic of Gamers line of gaming notebooks. The new machines include the ROG G750JZ, G750JM, and G750JS notebooks. The notebooks all use high-end components including the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 800M series GPUs.

The GPUs are paired with 4th generation Intel Core i7-4700 processors. All three of these gaming notebooks also have ASUS TurboMaster GPU overclocking promising desktop graphics power from the notebooks.

The GPU inside the gaming notebooks has 4GB of GDDR5 video memory. Asus fits the G750 series notebooks with up to the NVIDIA GTX 880M GPU, the top of the line mobile GPU from NVIDIA. NVIDIA launched the new GTX 800M series of GPUs earlier this month.

The new Asus notebook series also features upgraded thermal solutions to keep the hardware cool. The processor and GPU inside the machines have their own heat pipe cooling solutions. Asus also rolls in support for UHD 4K video content. HDMI 1.4 and DisplayPort 1.2 interfaces are included to support video output. Asus also equips the machines with Killer Wireless-N1202 networking hardware. Backlit keyboards with long travel keys make it easy to type in the dark and the machines feature multi-touch trackpads. Pricing and availability for the G750 series of notebooks is unknown.
