The US might be gearing up for Black Friday – and you can find our top tips for dealing with the shopping slaughterhouse here - but everywhere else in the world can only look on with bemusement: for them it’s just a regular Friday.  Happily Apple obviously has a lot to be thankful for, and as such is extending its Black Friday sale to all markets.

The teaser, which loads on the first page of the Apple online store, reads “Come back to the Apple Online Store this Friday for a special one-day-only Christmas shopping event.”  Would-be shoppers are promised “dozens of great iPod, iPhone and Mac gift ideas” together with free delivery.

There’s no indication of what Apple bargains might actually be on offer – could Best Buy’s cut-price MacBook and MacBook Pro sale give any suggestions? – but if you were thinking of doing some shopping then it’s probably in your best interest to hold off until the end of the week.  From the logo it looks as though everything will be discounted in some way.
