So a while ago we reported that several iMacs were crashing which caused work to be lost and required the users to restart their machines. The problem was later pinned down to being a driver issue with their ATI graphics card drivers.

Well they have finally gotten around to fixing the issue. There is now an update available that should fix the drivers.

There are actually 2 updates, one for Tiger and one for Leopard, so depending on which OS you are running you’ll want to go get the one that’s right for you. Sure, they are only recommended, but I am pretty sure if it causes your machine to crash, you might want to get on that real quick.
