Acer gets official with Aspire 5738DG 3D notebook

Back on the 14th I mentioned that a new 3D Acer notebook called the Aspire 5738DG had tipped up online with little in the way of specs for the machine. Today Acer has gone official with the 5738DG and offers us the full rundown of all specs for the notebook. The little rig gets an Intel core 2 Duo T6600 processor for starters.

It will run Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and has a 15.6-inch 1366 x 768 resolution screen with an integrated TriDef 3D screen. Graphics for the device are Radeon HD 4570 with 2304MB of HyperMemory, 512MB of which is dedicated.

System memory is 4GB, storage is to a 320GB HDD, and the machine has 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and a DVD player. The sound system is Dolby optimized with two speakers. Power comes from a 6-cell li-ion battery with 4400mAh of power. The machine is surprisingly inexpensive considering the 3D tech built-in at $779.99. The machine will ship this week.
