Acer’s Aspire One D250 netbook has gone on sale in Asia, with the 10.1-inch budget ultraportable retailing in the Philippines for 23,995 Pesos ($507). Using Intel’s Atom N280 1.66GHz processor, the D250 is expected to phase out the Aspire One D150 with its slightly-slower N270 1.6GHz CPU.

In fact, retailers in the Philippines are apparently charging the same for the D250 as they were for the D150. Aside from the processor, the specifications are the same: 160GB hard-drive, 1GB of RAM and both WiFi and Bluetooth, together with 3-cell and 6-cell battery options and up to 7.5hrs possible runtime.
We saw the first video unboxing of the Aspire One D250 back at the start of April. The netbook is already on sale in Germany, where it retails for around $505.

5/14 I just bought a Acer’s Aspire One D250 netbook from Walmart as well. They had about 15 of them. Red and Blue only. They said if i wanted the other colors i needed to order online. Price was $298. Works great. I love the D250. Mine has a 3 cell batt. All other specs the same as above.
