Just because you dress the Zune up in another color doesn’t necessary make it worth $750. I recommend that you save your hard earned money for Apple’s new video iPod or maybe the Apple phone (should it come out soon).
The unlucky owner of this “very rare” ORANGE Zune (number 083 of 100) tried to auction off the player at a starting bid of $750 plus a shipping charge of $20 (through snailmail).
The auction ran on Ebay for 24 hours without a single bid, despite the note from the seller stating that it wont get re-listed if no buys it. Um…good lucky on this one bud.
Make sure to check for inappropriate adult content should you buy it ☺.

Hem J – I beg to differ. Aradius even launched a site for the zune called http://www.mszune.com. I attended the exclusive launch, took videos and images. At the end of the day, it’s inferior to the iPod. For the record, let me hand you a gun with ONE bullet in it to shoot yourself in the head if you’re going to pay $750 or more for the Zune. Again, thanks but no thanks!

It looks nice, it feels nice and the UI looks okay. But that fake scroll wheel in the middle is a joke, and the DRM it inflicts on its users is insane. The deal-killer for me with the Zune (apart from its complete incompatibility with Macs, as I am a Mac man) is the $1/Zune that MS is paying to Universal music as a sort of piracy tax. No matter how sweet the thing is (and it’s really not that sweet-I can’t ever imagine wanting to transfer songs wirelessly to another person, so I just don’t care about the feature) that’s a real problem for me. It has nothing to do with being a Mac fanboy and everything to do with not wanting to be the RIAA’s stooge.

omg! u have no idea how stoked i would be if i had that orange ZUNE!!!!!!! Orange is the most AWESOME COLOR ever and who ever owns one is very VERY LUCKY! I would give anything for it. Unfortunately i do not have $750. I really wish i did. i owould definetily get it. Once again who ever owns an orange zune…you are SSOOOOOOO LUCKY! i only wish iwould have been as lucky as to get one of the 100 orange Zunes.

my friend has a zune and I recently tried it out-awesome! I pod I’m not so impressed with. Apple stuff-totally over rated!
NeutralYou don’t have to spend 750$ on an orange zune-you can get a normal 80 gigs for 250! so it’s all up to you-do you prefer crap that is fashionable or something effective that can be sold for 750$ just because the change of color!
