ZTE Blade S6 4G LTE rocks Snapdragon 615 and Android 5.0

ZTE has rolled out its latest smartphone that it promises offers premium features at a price for the masses. The smartphone is called the Blade S6 4G LTE and it uses a Snapdragon 615 octa-core chipset under the hood. The smartphone also comes out of the box running Android 5.0 Lollipop. The smartphone doesn't run plain Android; it is overlaid with the ZTE MiFavor 3.0 user interface.

The Snapdragon 615 processor is paired with an Adreno 405 graphics processor that is capable of full HD resolution H.265 decoding. One of the hallmarks of the smartphone's design is a very thin 2mm thick case. The device comes in silver or matte pink colors.

Supported networks include LTE 1800/2600/900/700(800), UMTS (850)900/2100 MHz, and 850/900/1800/1900. Dimensions of the smartphone are 144 x 70.7 x 7.7mm. The display is a 5.0-inch unit with HD resolution and in-cell technology.

The rear camera is a Sony IMx214 13MP unit with autofocus and the front camera is a 5MP wide-angle fixed focus unit. Power comes from a 2400 mAh internal battery and storage is 16GB. The processor is paired with 2GB of RAM and the phone has hi-fi audio, WiFi, Bluetooth and a full sensor suite. The Blade S6 will sell for $249.99 and will be available via Amazon in select markets.
