Zotac GeForce GTX 560 Ti packing 448 cores leaks

A souped-up GeForce graphics card, the Zotac GeForce GTX 560 Ti, packing a total of 448 cores rather than the usual 384, has been pictured ahead of its official release. The image, leaked to Fudzilla, shows box-art for the NVIDIA-based performance video card, as well as the hardware itself, clad in a brightly colored cooling system.

Targeted at the performance gamer market, the Zotac card comes equipped with 1280MB of graphics memory and a 320-bit bus. Occupying two slots, it has HDMI connectivity – among other ports – and supports NVIDIA SLI for multi-card setups.

The suggestion is that, rather than an overclocked regular GTX 560 Ti, Zotac could actually be using an underclocked GeForce GTX 570. That would make the core chip NVIDIA's GF110, rather than the GF114, though of course we won't know until the card hits the market.

When, exactly, that will take place is unconfirmed, though previous reports have suggested November 29. Pricing is yet to be revealed.
