Xperia Z1S hits T-Mobile through Sony Mobile and in-store

The folks at T-Mobile and Sony are proving they're willing to go the extra mile when it comes to the release of the Xperia Z1S this week. In the release – which begins today – both T-Mobile USA and Sony will be making this unique model available both online and in-stores. While the device has been made available in a more general sense from Sony before, this T-Mobile edition has just appeared available today.

We've got our own Sony Xperia Z1S T-Mobile Review as well as an early hands-on with the international edition of this device, the Xperia Z1. This device originally appeared in a long line of leaks code-named "Honami", adding much to the anticipation of the device after the release of the Sony Xpeira Z.

This device takes the finer points of the original Sony Xperia Z and adds feature upgrades to the display and the camera. Inside you'll find a 20.7-megapixel camera with BIONZ mobile image processing engine working with a Sony G Lens. This camera is able to execute the newest in new camera app features such as rapid-fire shots (for the selection of a single, perfect shot) and Augmented Reality.

This device also works with a 5-inch display with 1080p resolution and TRILUMINOS technology from Sony, making it extremely sharp and color-correct. The entire smartphone is also waterproof at IP55/58, and the release will be made with T-Mobile's own Simple Choice Plan offerings.

The Sony Xperia Z1S works with T-Mobile's $0-down offer with 24 equal monthly payments of $22 USD – that's $528 USD in the end. Have a peek at the review and let us know what you think!
