The Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition was made available and quickly disappeared all in one day earlier this week. Today the console has (once again) been made available through official means, for its original price. That means no 3rd-party flipper pricing for those that hit the button quick enough – if this ever-so-slightly different edition is the Xbox One X they want.

Supposing a person wants this console, they'd be receiving the following in the mail: one box with 1x Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition 1TB Console. That's a real mouthful, to be sure. This is the only version of the Xbox One X currently available, and it's on preorder for now.

Also note that the box this console comes in has an Original Xbox-inspired design. So really this order includes one cardboard box with an Xbox-inspired box inside containing 1x Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition 1TB Console. Users will receive a collection of items in the box, too. In the box is the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition 1TB Console, Project Scorpio Edition Wireless Controller, Xbox One X Vertical Stand, 1-month Game Pass subscription trial, 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial, HDMI cable (4K capable), and AC Power cable.

This console is a limited edition affair, and it rolls with all the compatibility of the original Xbox One. Or you could consider the Xbox One S, another step up from the original Xbox One – and one that comes in a variety of over-the-top awesome custom editions. That link leads back to a review of the Xbox One S in a fully gnarled and bloodied edition for Gears of War 4.

Those that wish to take a peek at the listing for the Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition can do so through Amazon. Users will also find a 2-year multi-device protection plan for $40. The Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition 1TB Console is available for pre-order as of the posting of this article and will be released formally on November 7th, 2017.
