Xbox Black Friday deals revealed: Games, consoles, subscriptions

We're days away from Thanksgiving and that means, for many consumers, that it's time to start shopping for the holidays. Here to usher that in is consumer holiday Black Friday when a number of companies will discount their items and launch various deals (and pseudo-deals) to lure in customers. For gaming enthusiasts, Microsoft has unveiled its upcoming Xbox Black Friday deals.

As expected, the company will be offering deals and discounts on its Xbox One consoles, as well as various games and gaming subscriptions. If you're an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or Live Gold subscriber, you'll get early access to the deals starting on November 11, according to Microsoft. Everyone else has to wait until November 24.

From November 24 to December 2, Microsoft will be selling the Xbox One X console at $349.99 USD — that price applies to any console. The Xbox One S console will be discounted by $100 for Black Friday, putting it at $149.99 USD. Likewise, Microsoft will be offering up to $20 discounts on Xbox Wireless Controllers.

Microsoft is bringing back another 'dollar deal' with the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for three months at a cost of $1. This discount will go live starting on November 14, marking what Microsoft says is officially its 'best deal ever.' As well, eligible Game Pass Ultimate subscribers will get a bonus that includes six months of Spotify Premium, a month of EA Access, and three months of Discord Nitro.

If you're hoping to score some new games at lower prices, Microsoft will also have you covered starting on November 24. The company is discounting Xbox Game Studios titles by up to 50-percent, it announced today. Examples of the discounts include State of Decay 2 at half off the retail price, Gears 5 at 33-percent off, and Forza Horizon 4 at half off.
