Wick's Bounty LTM returns to Fortnite for Winterfest 2019

Fan-favorite Limited Time Mode 'Wick's Bounty' has returned to Fortnite during this holiday season, giving players a nice break from the dominating Star Wars crossover. Epic announced the mode's return on Friday, stating only that it will be available for a short time. Wick's Bounty was first introduced in Fortnite back in May.

Wick's Bounty LTM was introduced during Fortnite Season 9 alongside the related Wick's Bounty Challenges to coincide with the release of John Wick 3, the movie. In this mode, players spawn into the game as John Wick or Rook with an assault rifle and shotgun.

The Limited Time Mode's goal is to eliminate opponents in order to get gold coins. Depending on whether you're playing as Duos or Squads, your team will need to get either 300 or 500 coins to win. Once the top three bounties are noted, they'll appear on the map and on-screen compass.

Some players may be familiar with this gameplay as simply the 'Bounty LTM' mode without the John Wick references. This time around, Wick's Bounty is part of the ongoing Winterfest event, which includes presents for players, new challenges for unlocking goodies, and a blizzard that is blasting the island with snow.

It's unclear whether the Limited Time Mode will remain available until Winterfest's end on January 2, but it's probably safe to say that it will remain available through this weekend. Don't forget to sign in on Saturday and Sunday to get the latest Supercharged XP perk, which helps players quickly unlock new skins and cosmetics.
