Watch Mark Hamill tear up in this Last Jedi documentary clip

The most hardcore bar-none Star Wars fans look for moments like these in this universe. Mark Hamill can be seen in a video clip for the documentary for Star Wars: The Last Jedi, tearing up in the presence of an old friend. I wont reveal who that old friend is here in the first paragraph because that'd be a spoiler for the very, very few people who haven't yet seen The Last Jedi – YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

Those with a love for emotional moments in sci-fi epics should get their tissues out now, because the tears are about to flow. Here in this very, very brief clip, we see Mark Hamill watching Yoda come to life in his puppet form in-person for the first time in decades. This is part of the documentary portion of The Last Jedi, a film which is coming to digital release this week.

Next you'll see a preview for the full documentary that'll come with The Last Jedi. The documentary goes by the name The Director and The Jedi, and it's gonna be pretty epic. It looks a lot like what the documentaries looked like for Lord of The Rings – though probably not quite as long.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will be available on digital and with Movies Anywhere on March 13th, 2018. The film will be released on March 27th in Blu-Ray format – that's with 4K UHD support right out the box. Purchases through various outlets may contain different bonus features. Target and Best Buy have their own unique editions – which means you'll have to buy them all to get all the physical... stuff... and such.

Target's feature bonus, for example, includes a video called "Meet The Porgs." Also included in the release are "The Director And The Jedi," "Balance of The Force," and a selection of scene breakdowns. These breakdowns include "Lighting the Spark: Creating The Space Battle, Snoke and Mirrors, and Showdown on Crait.

Also in bonus features is a video called "Andy Serkis Live! (One Night Only)" as well as audio commentary for the film, and deleted scenes. Cross your fingers all this will be released in all formats – double-check before you buy! UPDATE: Here's an 11-minute preview of the documentary mentioned above!
