Vizio unveils new line of HDTVs with Full Array TruLED LCD tech

Vizio has become one of the largest HDTV firms in the country on the back of its lower priced sets that offer lots of high-end features without driving the cost up. The company has announced a new line of HDTVs that offer some interesting features. The new line includes the XVT553SV, XVT473SV and XVT423AV HDTVs all offering similar features with different screen sizes.

All of the XVT sets use the Vizio Full Array TruLED technology that offers deeper blacks and better off angle viewing along with smart dimming zones. The Smart dimming zones offer contrast ratios of up to 10,000,000:1. All of the sets also have Vizio internet Apps and sport integrated 802.11n wireless networking for connecting to the internet for content using the apps.

The remote on all of the sets also has a QWERTY keyboard built-in. The XVT553SV, XVT473SV and XVT423AV TVs are 55-inches, 47-inches, and 42-icnhes respectively, all use Edge Lit LED tech, and 240Hz refresh rates. The 55-inch set is $2199, the 47-inch unit is $1799, and the 42-inch unit is $1199.
