Verizon Wireless gets Pantech Crux

Verizon Wireless has announced that starting today mobile phone shoppers looking for a cheap phone with some decent features can get hands on the Pantech Crux. The Crux has a nice 3-inch touchscreen with a music player that has external controls.

The phone supports widgets for social networking services and has a 1GB microSD card installed. The microSD card slot in the phone will support cards up to 32GB. The phone also supports IM and email on the go and has a virtual QWERTY keyboard.

The phone supports downloadable ringtones, wallpapers, and games and is Skype mobile capable. It will also support V Cast Music with Rhapsody for subscriptions and download content. Other features include HTML web browsing, stereo Bluetooth, and more. The Crux will sell for $49.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate.
