Verizon New HTC One release detailed for Tuesday

It would appear that Verizon may be breaking with tradition on the release of the new HTC One this year. Just as some international brands have revealed, this carrier will be bringing the New HTC One to stores on the 25th of March – the same day the device will be revealed.

This device has been tipped to be coming with the following specifications. These bits and pieces leaked on a Verizon HTC One model with 32GB of internal storage sold on eBay earlier this month.

Display: 5-inch 1080p Full HD

Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 801

RAM: 2GB DDR2

Internal Storage: 32GB, microSD card slot for 128GB more

Sound: HTC BoomSound dual stereo speakers up front

Camera: Duo Camera with UltraPixel, BSI Sensor, 28mm lens, HTC ImageChip 2

Secondary Camera: 5-megapixel BSI, wide-angle lens, HDR, 1080p video recording

We'll be heading to the New York HTC event next week for an early Tuesday event. Stick around our HTC One tag portal for all the details you could possibly want as far as HTC One 2014 action, and jump on out to a store right after the event – they'll be there!

BONUS: As the image from Verizon shows, it looks like the 2014 version of the HTC One will be working with what appears to be a case with single pixel lettering. Much like cases with certain competitor devices over the past year, this case looks like it might use a lot less energy in letting its owner know what time it is as well as notifications throughout the day.
