Verizon HTC Trophy: Carrier's first WP7 device due May 26

It's taken them a while – seven months since it first arrived on the market, in fact – but Verizon Wireless is finally ready to offer the HTC Trophy. The first Windows Phone 7 device on the carrier's network, the Trophy is the same 1GHz, 3.8-inch WVGA smartphone as we reviewed all those months ago, though now with World Phone functionality to play nicely with Verizon's CDMA network and GSM/HSPA roaming outside the US.

Specs include a 5-megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and GPS, along with 16GB of onboard storage. There's also the HTC Hub, and all the usual Windows Phone support for Xbox LIVE profiles and Office documents.

Verizon will be selling the HTC Trophy online from May 26 and in-store from June 2, priced at $149.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate and assuming a new, two-year agreement. Buy before July 15 and they'll give you a free Xbox 360 game, too: either Halo: Reach, Kinect Sports or Lode Runner.
