Vector smartwatch goes 30 days on a charge

If you like the idea of a smartwatch but want something that doesn't look like a smartwatch, the Vector may be just the thing for you. The Vector smartwatch looks more like a fashion watch than a smartwatch. The most impressive feature about the Vector smartwatch isn't the style, but the super long battery life. The manufacturer claims that the Vector can go 30 days on a single charge.

You will be able to get two models of the Vector smartwatch including the Luna and the Meridian. The Luna is a round face watch that will sell for around $349. The Meridian is a rectangular watch that will sell for $199.

Whichever version of the smartwatch you choose, both are water resistant to 50 meters and will launch this summer. Both watches have metal bodies and are offered with metal link bands, stitched leather, or rubber straps. Each has a monochrome display with improved contrast for readability in strong light.

Features of the smartwatch include step, calorie, and activity tracking along with sleep tracking. The smartwatches support Android, iOS, and Windows Phone devices with notifications, calendar access, and the ability to browse news headlines pulled form RSS feeds. The watch face can be customized from the app. Notifications show up as a thick line around the watch face and you can tap it if you want to see the notification.
