Toshiba Reveals Super Charged Industrial Graded Battery

Don't you just love a breakthrough battery innovation? It's nothing worse than having the best gear in town with frustrated battery that can't maintain high charging capacity. My next question on cell phone is usually the standby and talk time. I have over 50, size AA NIMH rechargeable batteries for my camera flash used for high speed action shot and they get replaced every single year. I read the news with hope that Toshiba may be the answer to my 2700mph Maha that's started to show weakness in holding charge. Toshiba Corporation announces a Super Charge Ion Battery (SCIB) that can recharge to 90 percent of its full capacity in less than 5 minutes with longevity life cycle of 10 years.

Another unique and useful feature of the SCIB is maintaining less than 10 percent lost of efficiency after 3000 charging cycle. It's also rated for extreme cold temperature as low as 30C/22F with safety precaution monitor system that prevent possible rupture in fire, great news for manufacturer to save a few millions in lawsuit. So far so good but unfortunate for me they are only made available to industrial markets in initial launch like electric vehicles with availability coming this March. No mention of consumer electronic good or standard used household size batteries.
