Toshiba Portégé and Tecra lines update with ultraportables & Tablet

Toshiba have announced four new models in their Portégé ultraportable series, including a notebook they're calling "the world's thinnest and lightest" and a new convertible Tablet PC.  The Toshiba Portégé R600 tips the scales at 2.14lbs and still includes a Core 2 Duo processor and battery good for up to 9hrs use.  Meanwhile the Toshiba Portégé M750 updates the company's pen-computing options, with a 12.1-inch 1280 x 800 active digitizer display.

The Portégé A600 adds a little weight and bulk to the R600 but uses it to its advantage with GMA X4500 graphics and a cheaper sticker price.  Finally, the Tecra R10 slots in as a premium model, with an Intel 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo SP9400 processor, 4GB of DDR2 RAM, 200GB 7,200rpm hard-drive and NVIDIA Quadro NVS 150M video card.

Currently the new models are showing up on Toshiba's Canadian site.  The R600 is priced between CAD$1,499 and $3,299 ($1,341 to $2,951), the M750 Tablet PC from CAD$2,199 ($1,967) and the Tecra R10 for CAD$1,999 ($1,788).
