Toki Tori leads the way in this week's Switch eShop update

While we wait on some of those exciting indie games for Switch that Nintendo revealed earlier this month, we still have the weekly eShop update to look forward to. Just as it does every Thursday, today Nintendo detailed the various games that will be landing on the eShop over the course of the next week. As expected, the Switch is getting most of the week's new releases, but there's a little something for 3DS and Wii U owners launching as well.

There probably aren't any games that are going to cause Switch owners to flock to the eShop, but if you're a fan of puzzle games, you might just find yourself doing so anyway. That's because Toki Tori is landing on the Switch eShop this week, nearly 17 years after its original release on Game Boy Color. Of course, this isn't a straight port of the GBC version, as Toki Tori has undergone some significant aesthetic changes throughout the years.

The second game Nintendo is highlighting today is a title called Penny-Pinching Princess. Billed as an isometric brawler that takes place in a world capitalism trumps everything else, you'll have to "fight or bribe your way to reclaiming your kingdom from the greedy Dragoloans." Add to that the release of a new Atelier game, and it sounds like we have a pretty well-rounded week ahead of us. Here are all of the games landing on the eShop over the next few days:

So, depending on the types of games you like to play, this could either be an exciting week for the Switch eShop or a rather quiet one. As always, it's nice to see the 3DS and the Wii U getting a little love, even though support for those platforms might be on the decline. Which titles are you most excited for this week?
