The Twilight Zone reboot gets Jordan Peele as host and narrator

Late last year, CBS revealed that it will be rebooting The Twilight Zone with plans to make it exclusively available on CBS All Access. The reboot will retain the same iconic name as the original, offering a blend of fantasy, horror, and science fiction that explores human nature and offers social commentary. In a new teaser video, CBS revealed the show's new host.READ: The Twilight Zone reboot gets greenlight

In its announcement last December, CBS revealed that its Television Studios will be producing the show with Jordan Peele's Monkeypaw Productions, the latter also serving as an executive producer.

Details were slim at the time, with CBS merely teasing that its All Access platform would provide a level of "creative freedom" for the show.

In a new video published by CBS All Access, the network revealed that the rebooted series will be premiering in 2019 with Jordan Peele serving as host and narrator. Peele confirmed the role by tweeting the video from his Twitter account.

Unfortunately, CBS hasn't provided a solid release date at this time. The CBS All Access exclusivity means fans will need to sign up for the on-demand service, which provides access to the network's entire back catalog, as well as episodes from current shows and streaming access to a live CBS station.
