The Lego Movie Videogame hits retail

The first time I saw the trailer for The Lego Movie, I thought it looked like a bad idea. Apparently, I am one of the few that thought that considering how well that movie did at the theater so far. As you might expect, a new videogame has launched to go along with the movie. The game is called The Lego Movie Videogame.

The game has hit retail stores and is available for gamers to purchase right now. The game is available on most game systems including the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4, PS3, PS Vita, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and Windows computers.

The game will take players on a trip through LEGO worlds such as Bricksburg, Cloud Cuckoo Land, and Wild West of Flatbush Gulch. The game was developed by Warner Brothers interactive and TT Games. The developers say that for the first time ever the entire environment is made of digital Lego bricks.

The videogame is based on the events that happen in the movie and players play as Emmet, a Lego minifigure. Players will get to use the abilities of more than 90 characters inspired by the film. The game has 15 levels on consoles and 45 missions on portable devices. The playable characters are voiced by the same actors that made the movie including Chris Pratt, Morgan Freeman, and others. The game will sell for $59.99 on the Xbox One and PS4. It will cost $49.99 on the Wii U, Xbox 360, and PS3. the 3DS and PC versions of the game will sell for $29.99.
