The Avengers: Age of Ultron to film some scenes in South Africa, hits theaters May 2015

One of the most successful movies in the super hero genre was the original The Avengers film from a few years ago. That movie made big money at the box office guaranteeing that there would be follow up films. There have been locations surface in the past where the next The Avengers films will be shooting.

Primary shooting on the film, Avengers: Age of Ultron, will be in the UK. The movie will also be shooting in Northern Italy and South Korea as well. More recently, it was learned that the film would also be shooing in Johannesburg and Gauteng, South Africa.

The film will reportedly be shooting for two weeks in South Africa. Exactly what part of the film will be shot in South Africa is unknown. Word is that the primary cast won't be filming there.

There is no indication of what parts of the film will be shot in South Africa without the main cast. I wonder if it will be one of Marvel's famous post credit scenes.
