Tales from the Borderlands eps 1-5 get physical release in April

If you've been waiting to check out Telltale Games' Tales from the Borderlands series, or only played one episode and planned to come back to it, the perfect opportunity to dive in will arrive in late April. That's when a physical disc release will see all five episodes collected into a single purchase, available for PlayStation 4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. There's no easier way to get introduced to the story-driven spin-off of Gearbox's Borderlands FPS series.

Like all of Telltale's previous episodic series, Tales from the Borderlands is a narrative-heavy experience, with players forced to make decisions on dialog and actions that will affect the story. The game focuses on several existing characters from the Borderlands universe, including Rhys, Fiona, and Handsome Jack.

Originally released throughout 2014 and 2015, all five episodes of Tales from the Borderlands received plenty of praise from critics and fans alike, both for the action and adventure gameplay, as well as the story and writing. Even for those who haven't been deeply into the original Borderlands games, it's easy to understand why this spin-off is one of Telltale's best, right alongside The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us series.

Those in the US will find Tales from the Borderlands in stores on April 26th, while Europeans can pick it up on April 22nd. There's no word on pricing yet, but know that the best part of getting Telltale's full-series collections is that you don't have to deal with several months of waiting between episodes.
