The trailer you're about to see shows the villains of the DC Comics universe rallying together in a film called Suicide Squad. This film is based on the comic series of the same name. Here you're going to see characters like The Joker and Harley Quinn working for the government in discreet operations the likes of which would never otherwise be executed. This is Suicide Squad. This movie is going to be really strange. It's going to mix up what's right and wrong. It's going to ask questions that'll go completely unanswered.

While the original TV series Heroes may have fizzled out several years ago, NBC announced a few months back that it was bringing the show back, and at San Diego Comic-Con on Sunday, the first trailer for Heroes Reborn was shown. Running over three minutes long, the new trailer shows that much of the show focuses on humans that are "enhanced" with special powers and how they're persecuted, along with introducing a number of new characters.

DC Comics fans at San Diego Comic-Con were treated to the ultimate bit of fan service on Friday night while waiting for next morning's panel on the new Batman v Superman movie. Some of those in line the longest had reportedly been waiting 10 hours or so, and at around midnight, when their surprise arrived, everyone still had another 10 hours to go until the panel started. It was during this moment that none other than the new Batmobile roared down the street, coming to a stop in front of the building, with director Zack Snyder behind the wheel.

There's a cut of Star Wars: The Force Awakens out there, ladies of gentlemen. It exists. Not that we didn't know this would eventually happen, but it's so close, we can taste it. Abrams confirmed that he had a cut - not even necessarily the first cut of the film - for preview. This isn't the sort of cut that just anyone will be able to see - it's an indicator that we're in or near the Post Production stages of the movie.

One "special guest" set to be in attendance tonight at Disney's official Star Wars panel has been tipped: Colin Trevorrow. This is the director of Jurassic World and Safety Not Guaranteed - so calling him a quickly rising star would be a gross understatement. At this point on Twitter, Trevorrow has said absolutely nothing about SDCC - no mention whatsoever - and hasn't said anything about any subject since the 5th of July. While an absence of Tweets isn't a guarantee of anything, the director of one of the biggest pop-culture phenomenons of the year not saying anything about Jurassic World happenings at the biggest comic convention of the year isn't exactly normal. He's probably in San Diego right this minute.

Tonight a presentation at San Diego Comic Con promises to be the birthplace of a brand new bit of footage from the future of Star Wars. Whether or not it'll be from The Force Awakens or an "Anthology" film like Rogue One is still up for debate. What's not up for debate, according to filmmaker Kevin Smith, is whether or not they'll be showing any new footage to the public. Smith just last night made a $10,000 bet that Disney would show new Star Wars video at their presentation tonight.

With the San Diego Comic-Con officially underway in, well, San Diego, Microsoft held a panel for the upcoming Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One. The big announcement was that a special bundle will be released next month featuring the Xbox One console and a copy of the HD remaster of the original Gears of War. John DiMaggio, the voice actor behind Gears' protagonist Marcus Fenix, was even tapped to host the panel, which also offered an inside look at the game's recreation process.

This morning fans found a cryptic Star Wars message written in Galactic Basic Standard font Aurebesh at SDCC. Comic-con (SDCC) is known for releasing big news in all sectors, and as it was the very first place where the original "The Star Wars" film was revealed, we wouldn't put it past Lucasfilm and Disney to bring the big guns to the last SDCC before the new trilogy begins with Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It's time to head to Comic-con - Conan O’Brien has already begun his journey in a MAD MAX vehicle. Those of you that've already seen the newest Mad Max movie will recognize this as the DOOF Wagon. That's the vehicle that plays music for the war party in the 2-hour chase sequence that spans the entire film. While Conan might not have his eyes gouged out like the real Doof guitar player, he's got the head bandages, the red jumpsuit, and the fire guitar to make the part his own.

Dr Who is the latest addition to the upcoming multi-universe LEGO game LEGO Dimensions. Unveiled at SDCC (Comic-Con) - also starting this morning - this addition to the LEGO Dimensions world is not the first brand to arrive before physical LEGO bricks have been made by the company. Earlier this month we also saw LEGO Portal - from Valve. This game will also dip in to the LEGO Movie, DC Comics with Batman, Back to the Future, and Lord of the Rings and the Hobbit.
