We’ve known for a while now that James Cameron will be making some Avatar sequels, and rumor has had it that we’d see the first of those sequels some time in 2018. Unfortunately, that’s not true. Confirmation comes from Cameron himself, who said in an interview that, “Well, 2018 is not happening,” in reference to the theatrical debut. When will we see the first of the new movies? No one knows, not even Cameron himself, it seems.

ALIEN: Covenant invites you to “Meet Walter” (with AMD onboard)

This morning a press release was sent out detailing the latest synthetic (read: humanoid robot) from Weyland-Yutani. This synthetic's name was Walter, and it acted as a different version of the robot we saw in Prometheus - then called David. Oddly, it would seem that this "Walter" version is powered by the processing technology of AMD, a company which exists here in the present.
