Hell’s Foundry DashLink Lets you Dock your iPod Touch on your Harley

Considering how many iPod Touch/iPhone docks that are out there, people might have been wondering where on Earth we might see one pop up next. While the more traditional model, the one that sits on your desk or table, may be the more popular version floating around these days, there's probably a few Harley-Davidson riders out there that would love to see a docking station on their ride. Thanks to Hell's Foundry, it looks like your dreams are coming true, thanks to the DashLink.

2012 Izh Hybrid Motorcycle concept packs 3D multifunction display [Video]

There are plenty of good looking hybrid concepts out there, but Igor Chak's 2012 Izh Hybrid Motorcycle also tries to slip in some smartphone integration too.  Chak envisages the bike - which would pair a traditional 140HP V-Twin gas engine with a 60kw electric motor in the rear hub - hitting 80mpg, but also having radar distance control, proximity sensors for blind-spots, and a massive 3D touchscreen LCD.  It's there that we start to get a little worried.

Scala rider G4 intercom for motorcyclists allows four riders to talk

When I was younger, my brother and some friends spent lots of time riding motorcycles. If you needed to get someone to stop so you could talk to them, you had to wave your hands until you caught their attention. Thankfully, today you don’t have to rely on hand signals with devices like the new scala rider G4 from Cardo Systems.

Garmin Nuvi 510 weatherproof touchscreen GPS

Garmin Nuvi 510 weatherproof touchscreen GPS

At first glance we'd expect Garmin's new Nuvi 510 to be a budget model.  After all, the 3.5-inch screen is smaller (and regular aspect rather than widescreen) than most other new GPS devices we see, and there's no fancy graphics or clever 3D building renders.  However Garmin intend the 510 to be used not only in a car but on a motorbike and at sea, and so the feature set is slanted toward that.

The Dreamfit motorcycle mod – for paralyzed bikers

Typically here on Slashgear we cover slightly smaller mods, computers and game consoles are extremely typical. This slightly larger mod, appears  to be a perfectly normal bike. Actually if there weren’t a wheelchair sitting next to it, I wouldn’t have known there was the slightest difference between it and other bikes.
