FaceBit mixes face mask with fitness device

Throughout the pandemic, we've seen several companies try their hand at "smart" face masks. The most useful of the bunch may have just been revealed not by a company, but by engineers at Northwestern University. Dubbed "FaceBit" - the engineers behind this project describe it as "Fitbit for the face" - this is not a full mask, but rather a sensor that can be magnetically attached to the N95 and surgical masks healthcare workers already wear.

The Razer Zephyr made claims it can’t back up

Razer is best known for its gaming-centric computer products, but it has also been making headlines for some of its more unorthodox ideas. One, in particular, didn't have anything to do with gaming directly but was more timely and relevant than any of its other products. Unlike its past concept designs, Project Hazel went on to become the Zephyr mask due to popular demand. Ironically, its popularity is now waning because of Razer's misleading and potentially harmful marketing.
