Disney Parks has said that this fall they will be opening an Indiana Jones-themed restaurant in Orlando, Florida.

The second in a series of standalone Star Wars films is now in need of a new director, as previous title holder, Josh Trank, has recently announced he's leaving the project. After being absent from the Star Wars Celebration event in California last month, Trank, who has been attached to the movie since 2014, wrote in a post on StarWars.com that "After a year of having the incredible honor of developing with the wonderful and talented people at Lucasfilm, I’m making a personal decision to move forward on a different path."

The Internet is ablaze with Star Wars news today. The latest discovery is that Japanese All Nippon Airways (ANA) is launching a Stars Wars themed jet decked out like everyone's favorite droid, R2-D2. ANA's newest droid themed passenger jet is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner. It's all a part of the new 5-year ANA Star Wars Project, so we may see some other costumed jets in our future, (I'm holding out for Yoda.) The jet will be flying international routes this fall.

A massive-scale 3rd-person action game called "Star Wars 1313" was "canceled" when Disney acquired Lucasfilm - now that game's remnants may be fueling The Force Awakens. Not just a new video game, reworked and retooled for a more film-friendly title, but for the first film in the new trilogy, as well. The game bit we'll be discussing in short today - the movie part of this equation we'll be saving for when we've got more details from Lucasfilm. Before Disney's acquisition of the Star Wars franchise, the comic book rights were held by publisher Dark Horse. Since 1991, a large number of stories have been told that take place in the renowned galaxy far, far away, coming to be known under the umbrella of the Expanded Universe. Sadly, Disney and LucasFilm have decided that the Expanded Universe is now considered non-canon, and starting January 1st, 2015, Marvel will be taking over the rights to Star War comics.

An animated movie you probably haven't heard of called Strange Magic will be arriving this coming January, and it revolves around a story written by George Lucas. It is a somewhat surprise announcement, considering how close we are to the launch date, and according to TheWrap, this animated film will be in the style of a musical inspired by "A Midsummer Night's Dream". Some big-name voice talent will be starring in this Lucasfilm production, including Alan Cumming and Evan Rachel Wood.

This morning the next Star Wars movie was named officially - Star Wars: The Force Awakens. This is Star Wars 7, the move set to be released in 2016. Star Wars The Force Awakens has completed principal photography, and it's suggested that the first trailer is also cut and prepped for delivery. Now we'll have to start guessing what vehicle it'll come in on. Any guesses on what movie it'll start before? Maybe The Hobbit? Something epic? Into The Woods? Big Hero 6? Something Disney owns, that's for certain.
