A startup based in Tel Aviv is suing Apple for infringing on its dual camera tech. More interesting, however, is the accusation that Apple even boasted it could get away with it.

Pixel 2 XL, iPhone 8 Plus drop tests push glass to the limits

OEMs’ move to covering smartphones with glass may be a double-edged sword in terms of durability. Glass is often sturdier, giving the phone better structural integrity. But it’s also less malleable and often more prone to getting cracked on impact. So how strong is the glass on the faces and backs of our phones? Phonebuff took the two latest kings of the market, the Pixel 2 XL and the iPhone 8 Plus, and put them through an excruciating series of drop tests to find out.

Pixel 2 XL screen problems VS iPhone 8 Plus, LG V30, Galaxy Note 8

Over the past few days a bit of controversy popped up over the display on the Pixel 2 XL. The most common issue seen in descriptions of the device seems to have to do with the device's coloring and/or texture. iPhone X ‘True Super Cycle’ tipped for 2018

iPhone X ‘True Super Cycle’ tipped for 2018

The iPhone X is part of Apple's next Super Cycle - and that's neither a new feature for the iPhone nor a new way to wash it. The Super Cycle referred to in a report from KGI's Ming-Chi Kuo today (in a new investor note) is a long period of financial growth for a company - due in this case to the release of a brand new iPhone X, a device which looks and acts significantly different from its predecessors.
