iMac Pro still doesn’t give the one thing pros want

Apple’s WWDC’s keynote was filled with unusual stuff. Contrary to previous practices, Apple announced new devices at WWDC this year. Not only that, it revealed an unexpected iMac Pro. And to top it all off, it is making it available in an unprecedented Space Gray color. That, however, comes at a very high-price of $4,999. That’s a price not many professionals will be able to afford or even be willing to pay, especially for a Pro computing device that still doesn’t give what they’ve been begging Apple for: flexibility.

Apple giveth and Apple taketh away. At a rather unusual WWDC keynote, Apple revealed a plethora of new devices, or rather mostly refreshed devices, some of which have accessories in tow. And just as some might be a bit confused by Apple’s message on its revised Mac and iPad Pro lines, its accessories message is just as confusing, if not disappointing. Apple has sadly revealed that you won’t be able to buy any of the new Space Gray accessories it just showed off. And neither can you buy a wired keyboard anymore.

This morning Apple revealed the iMac Pro, the first in its line of all-in-one computers with the "Pro" moniker. This version of the iMac will be much more powerful than its predecessors and just a bit more powerful than the rest of the iMac lineup revealed earlier today. This is what Apple is suggesting will be "the most powerful Mac ever."
