Fossil Q Founder Android Wear smartwatch arrives tomorrow

In October, Fossil introduced its Q smartwatches, an Android Wear lineup with classy designs that don't immediately bring to mind thoughts of tech. There are three watches in the lineup, chief among them being the Q Founder, the company’s flagship Android Wear wearable. In a statement today, Fossil announced that it will launch the Q Founder watch tomorrow, getting it out before the holiday shopping madness.

Fossil acquires Misfit to make fashion accessories smarter

Just a few weeks ago, fashion brand Fossil unveiled a new series of Q watches, including the Android Wear Q Founder. It seems, however, that that isn't the end of its smart wearable plans. Perhaps inspired by the recent outing of luxury smartwatches, like the TAG Heuer Connected, Fossil has announced its acquisition of Misfit, one of the more known names in the wearable market, particularly in smart fitness bands. By joining forces, Fossil hopes to expand its portfolio to embrace the growing number of wearable devices in the market today.

Fossil debuts Android Wear-powered Q smartwatch

As more and more traditional watch companies are eyeing the growing popularity of smartwatches with envy, yet another has decided to enter the heated market. This time its Fossil with their just announced line of Q watches, all with varying degrees of "smartness," including one powered by Android Wear. The lineup starts with three traditional analog watches, but with activity tracking sensors in the bands. The fourth features a color touchscreen display.

Fossil Android Wear watch release set for October

Fashion brand Fossil have teamed up with Intel to bring a new Android Wear-based smartwatch to the market this year. Revealed at IDF 2015, this watch is the first in a line of smart wearable devices from Fossil and Intel, while in 2016 more products will be coming from Fossil including a smart watch made under the Michael Kors brand. In addition to this first device - which at first glance looks very similar to certain Android Wear devices made by Motorola and Huawei - more devices are already on the table. Literally.
