The OnePlus 5T Star Wars Edition phone is hiding a fun R2-D2 Easter egg, and it includes an animated hologram. It's not an ordinary Easter egg, though -- OnePlus put a lot of work into this one, including a secret message and a hidden compartment, the combination of which bring R2-D2 to light. The secret lies with the greeting card in the box: put the first letter of each line together and you get your first hint.

It seems that the Nintendo Switch’s hidden and largely inaccessible NES Golf game is more than just a simple Easter egg. Reports are flowing in that the game’s presence inside the company’s latest console is, in fact, a tribute to the late Satoru Iwata and that the game can only be unlocked on the former CEO’s death anniversary and in a somewhat odd way. Whether true or not, the idea seems to have a struck a chord among Nintendo fans who looked upon Iwata as an icon not only in the company but in the gaming industry at large as well.

Film producer Aditya Sood revealed a tidbit of a connection between two of the movies he's worked on very recently: The Martian and Deadpool. At a press event for the home format release (DVD, Blu-ray, digital) of The Martian, Sood was asked about the long-awaited Marvel Comics title Deadpool. What were the differences between getting a little-known book (pre-big-publisher) turned into a major motion picture, and Deadpool, a film that's been notorious in its pre-production time - years and years and years on deck or below it? Sood answered indirectly.
